De simpelste manier van muziekmaken, na zingen,
is natuurlijk fluiten. Toch wordt er niet zo heel erg veel op plaatopnames
gefloten, en als er dan gefloten wordt is het regelmatig nog tamelijk vals
ook. Toch valt er een respectabel lijstje samen te stellen van platen waar
op gefloten wordt. Heerlijk om mee te fluiten, en soms ook een regelrechte
uitdaging. Mexican Whistler van Roger Whittaker bijvoorbeeld heeft mij jaren
geleden wekenlang aan het oefenen gezet, net zolang tot ik dat rare rollende
trilfluitje te pakken had. |
